TUBERCULOSIS IS CAUSE OF DEATH OF FINLAY LEAS
Tuberculosis caused the death of Finlay Leas, aged 70, at his home in the vicinity of Tunnel Hill, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. He had been in poor health for the past two years.
He was born on March 28, 1853 in Harrison Co.
For the past 50 years he had been a resident in the vicinity of Tunnel Hill. He held a membership in the Maccabee lodge at Warsaw.
His wife preceded him to the grave on December 17, 1919. He was married to Martha McCurdy 46 years ago. To this union were born Bert Leas of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Edward Leas, Warsaw, Ray Leas and Harry Leas, both of Akron, Hayden Leas of Frazeysburg and John Leas of the late home. Twenty-two grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held at Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Smith Hill church in charge of the Rev. Mr. Hales, of West Bedford. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
