CECIL E. HARDESTY
Cecil E. Hardesty, 64, Orchard St., died at 11:35 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 1993, at his home, after an extended illness.
Born March 15, 1929, in Coshocton County, he was the son of the late Roy and Delpha (Ogle) Hardesty.
He was a 1947 Keene High School graduate and retired in 1984 from Ansell Edmont Industrial Inc. after 37 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the VFW 1330 and the Eagles Lodge 761.
On Jan. 14, 1952, he married Ruth Leas who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Michael R. Hardesty of Coshocton; two brothers, Ward G. Hardesty and Robert L. Hardesty, both of Coshocton; a sister, Edythe (Russell) Harris of Coshocton; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Monday in Coshocton County Memory Gardens with the Rev. Robert Riedy officiating. The Coshocton Veterans Council will conduct graveside military services.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Park United Methodist Church.
