RUTH E. HARDESTY
COSHOCTON \endash Ruth E. Hardesty, 74, Orchard St., died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Coshocton County, to the late John C. and Bernice (Perkins) Leas.
A graduate of Union High School, she was an office manager at Columbia Gas of Coshocton for several years and a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church.
On Jan, 14, 1952, she married Cecil E. Hardesty who preceded her in death July 8, 1993.
Survivors include son, Michael Hardesty of Coshocton; three grandchildren; brothers, Rolland (Marilyn) Leas and Donis Leas of North Forth Myers, Fla.; and sister, Marcella Leas of Glenmont.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Leas.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
No calling hours will be held.
Given-Dawson Coshocton Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
