Richard Dean Leas, 74, died October 6, 2004. He was born in Indiana in 1930 and moved to Florida in 1950. He was a Korean War veteran as a member of the United States Air Force. He retired from Oscar Mayer after 31 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia, his son Michael Leas (and wife Gale) of Atlantic Beach, FL., his son Doug Leas (and wife Corrine) of Westminster, Colorado, his daughter Elizabeth Jordan (and husband Chip) of Tallahassee, FL., his grandchildren David and Christine, Leas , and Matthew and Patricia Jordan, his sister Bonnie Wolverton (and husband Richard ), his niece Lori Kosky, his uncle Arthur Taylor (and wife Naomi), and many dear friends and golf buddies.
A memorial service will be held at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, located at 4140 University Boulevard, South, on Saturday at 2 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made to the American Heart Association, located at 5851 St. Augustine, Road, Jacksonv ille, FL. 32207
