Although members of tthe Latshaw family were to provide leadership for the
church in the early portion of the 19th century, only
one Latshaw is listed as a member at the start of the American Revolution. "Mary

Joseph Latshaw (1699-1761) whose will was filed on January 26, 1761. Mary
Latshaw and Isaac Latshaw were the executors for
his will. Joseph Latshaw seems to have been married to Mary, who is listed as a
1770 member of the Big Conewago Congregation.
