Favorite Memory From Dance:
My favorite memories from dance are all from sophomore year at camp. The most memorable thing that happened at camp that year would probably be the peach incident. Basically I tried to stuff a half of a peach in my mouth, I started to laugh, and I choked. As I chocked and turned blue Allison, Jasmine, and Sara just laughed at me. I finally was able to stop choking, but I had however earned myself a new nickname, Peaches. Other memorable times from sophomore year at camp were the right face incident, getting stuck in the elevator, and the time I walked in to a room claiming I could tell there were Greensburg girls in there because their laughter was so loud, only to find out they had been laughing at me. Yet another memorable thing from sophomore year at camp was the formation of nicknames as I already stated I became Peaches because I choked on a peach, Allison became Sparky just because I was slap happy one night and said I was going to call her that, and Jasmine became Abu-bu with the help from members of another squad, and their memories of the Aladdin movie.

People You Would Like to Thank:
First, I would like to thank my coach Laurie. Coaching 20+ girls at 6 am in the morning is a task that no person in their right mind would ever want to do, but is exactly what you have been doing for 4 years now. I know that things get pretty crazy on our squad sometime, but you always manage to keep things running. I know that I often kept you on your toes whether I came in with a huge knot on my head from a car door or somehow only had one shoe, so thank you for putting up with me for four years. Good luck in the years to come!

Second, I would like to thank all the girls I have danced with currently and in the past. You all have your own way of making dance very special. I am glad I had the opportunity to be on the team with every single one of you. You all have a special place in my heart.

Next, I would like to thank my fellow seniors Sarah, Jennifer, Sparky and Abu-bu. Without you Pirateers wouldn’t have been the same. We have made some great memories and I will never forget any of you. May God bless you in everything you do.

Lastly, I would like to thank my parents. They have supported me in everything that I have ever done. They have done everything from coming to every game, taking me to and from practice, bringing me things when I managed to leave them at home, helping with clinic, and running the Pirateer webpage. I love you both so much! Thank you for everything!
