Favorite Memory From Dance:
I have two favorite memories from dance. The first would be the last day of camp my senior year. We were all sitting around a circle talking. I was telling KT B. and Alli G. how my mama was proud of me for my singin’ ability. I broke out into a song from the Disney movie, Aladdin, and it was AWFUL! And they laughed at me!
The second would be my senior year when we danced to the hip-hop routine, courtesy of Kylie. The crowd was into it, even the other side - Batesville.
People You Would Like to Thank:
I would first like to thank my parents for supporting me and paying for all of my Pirateer stuff. I wouldn’t have been able to dance without them. I would like to thank Laurie, our dance coach, for staying with the team through the good and bad times. I would also like to thank my friends on the team for making dance more fun! Lastly, I would like to thank Lindsay William for helping me make the team my first year trying out, and for letting me borrow her Capezios!
