ROSA POER

Rosa Oster Poer, 70, died at 9 p.m. Monday in her home on Walnut Street in Waterloo.

She was born in DeKalb County to William and Almeda (Oster) Shippy on April 5, 1905. She married Gerald Francis (sic) Poer Dec. 24, 1927 (sic). He preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1971. She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett.

Survivors include one son, Meredith V. Poer, Connie Drive, Muncie; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Graffis Funeral Home with Mr. Thomas Hensley officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Corunna Cemetery. ¹
