BERNICE V. LEAS
WARSAW - Mrs. Bernice V. Leas, 86, of 125 S. 15th St., died 9:35 a.m. Friday at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital following an apparent heart attack at her home.
Born Jan 22, 1895, [Jan 29] in Coshocton County, she was the daughter of Bert and Martha (Park) Perkins.
She was a life long member of the Union Methodist Church and a charter member of the Tunnel Hill Grange. She married John B. Leas Dec. 3, 1914. He died Jun 7, 1975.
Surviving are three sons, Wayne Leas of Coshocton, Rolland Leas of Dresden and Donis Leas of Fort Myers, Fla; two daughters, Marcella Leas and Mrs. Cecil (Ruth) Hardesty, both of Coshocton; a brother John Perkins of Carlisle, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Cecil (Esther) Wright of Coshocton, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Fischer Funeral Home here with Rev. Don Sprague officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery here.
Calling hours are 7-9 p.m. Sunday and until time of services Monday.
